The care described on Dr. Windman's web site is performed in accordance with the guidelines of the Atlas Orthongonal and Advanced Orthogonal.

Dr. Windman was also trained in NUCCA (National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association) procedure.

Currently, very few Board Certified Atlas Orthogonal (B.C.A.O.), Advanced Orthogonal and NUCCA doctors.

Unfortunately, there are very upper cervical doctors that exist in the USA or worldwide. Therefore, many patients (from other states and/or countries) choose to travel to the closest Board Certified Atlas Orthogonal (B.C.A.O.),Advanced Orthogonal and NUCCA practitioner.

Dr. Windman has many years experience and sympathizes with each individual's struggle to attain quality upper cervical care since it is not readily available.

However, please be advised that because the Atlas Orthogonal,Advanced Orthogonal and NUCCA procedure is extensive, it is impossible for Dr. Windman to advise an individual's local chiropractor on how to perform the procedure and/or any of the diagnostics involved.

Dr. Windman has treated patients who have resided in many different countries and States in the US.

Each individual`s care plan is specifically designed for his or her case and is determined at the initial evaluation appointment.

Dr. Windman has seen patients who were referred to her office with the following conditions who responded well to Atlas Orthogonal and Upper Cervical Care.

- Fibromyalgia & Chronic Fatigue
- Dizziness
- Headaches
- Migraines
- TMJ Dysfunction
- Vertigo
- Nervousness
- Stress
- Meniere's
- Insomnia
- Herniated Discs
- Hip Pain

- Low Back Pain

- NUCCA Blood Pressure Study....and many more

As a goal and a guide, patients who travel for care should make arrangements to be seen multiple times over 2 to 3 months so that once the initial correction is made, stability can be achieved. For the best results, the above parameters should be planned for.

On average, an individual should plan to travel to Maryland initially for approximately 2 to 3 months, depending upon his/her case, and should plan to return to Maryland multiple times during the following 3 to 6 months if necessary. For patients traveling from other countries, a longer stay is recommended to ensure the proper stabilization of a patient's case prior to his/her return home. Again, the care plan and response time vary per person depending upon several factors: the severity of his/her condition, lifestyle factors, the length of time the condition has been present and the age of the patient.

Please be advised that traveling for care can be very difficult due to time away from family, work, school, etc. It can also be expensive due to substantial travel and housing costs. Therefore, an individual should not attempt to travel to Maryland for care unless he/she is in a position to make the necessary time and financial commitments.

If you are able to comply with the time and financial issues discussed above and are interested in traveling to Maryland for care, please contact Dr. Windman's Office to discuss arrangements for your specific case. In your email, please include a detailed description of your health history (any history of trauma to the head/neck, your symptoms, diagnosis dates, etc.) and possible travel dates.

Dr. Windman's office will do it's best to make the arrangements smooth and effective. Additional information on housing and directions, along with links to area information, will be provided for you.
